Offering non-judgemental support and advice
Hi! I’m Gina. I am originally from London but now I live in the Midlands with my husband and two young children.
I am a Mummy of two gorgeous, happy children. Theo is three and currently loves diggers and puzzles and my little girl Grace is two, our sassy character who loves dancing.
Any sleep worry or concerns you are currently facing, I can assure you I have probably experienced too! I have been teaching in primary schools since 2012, and added to this skillset by training in infant and baby sleep.
Supporting children in their formative years is my passion and a good night of sleep is a foundation block for future development.
Have a look at the packages I offer to see which suits your situation best. Let’s work together and help your little one sleep.
Our Sleep Story
My first born, Theo, would not settle without being fed to sleep; he would wake many times in the night and then would wake up at 5 a.m.
I had to make a change!
15 months later Grace was born and she had silent reflux. Until I managed her symptoms, she would not nap or sleep well.
Whilst pregnant with my first born Theo, I decided to use some of my time researching baby and infant sleep. After choosing a book that felt right for my family, I finished it and believed I would have our baby sleeping through the night from 12 weeks….
I tried to follow the plan from the book, but I kept getting stuck in a pattern of feeding him to sleep; he would wake up many times in the night and then he began to wake up at 5 a.m. I knew this wasn’t ‘working’. I felt lost and didn’t know where to begin. I took to the internet and was flooded with different opinions and approaches.
I needed to change something but wasn’t quite sure what- my husband and I were tired and frustrated.
Then I learnt about the science of sleep and what that actually means. I realised that this new found knowledge could help give us what we needed for
a successful nights sleep.
I started to make some changes to Theo’s sleep environment and daily routine. It took me a while to stop feeding him to sleep, but once I had taught him how to self settle, he achieved the unthinkable - he slept through the night from 7-7!
The short story
The full story
I felt like a different woman.
15 months after Theo was born along came Grace - and boy did she let us know it! Our poor baby girl suffered with silent reflux - it is anything but silent! Once she was on a medication that was right for her, I could focus on using a sleep training method that suited her.
She loved the routine and it helped getting her into it as we had a toddler to run around after! Grace slept through the night at 9 weeks old for the first time. I wasn’t expecting it, and was waiting for her to wake up the whole night! A week later she did it again, and she has consistently slept through since. Unless my children are unwell they are good sleepers - I must admit, I do enjoy the poorly cuddles whilst they can still fit on my knee!
